Just sat down!
Life has been one crazy ride these past few months. I am still loving all our changes. One hard one was my parents moving an hour away. Besides doing my internship in Florida, I have never lived that far from my rents. Due to them moving, my little brother has moved in with us to finish out his senior year of high school (as Drum-major....YEAH!). And all in the middle of that we bought our first home!!!!!

We are so excited and have encountered some obstacles but allll worth it! With help from loved ones we pulled through with some amazing support. Getting our first house also helped me to complete my dream of always having my OWN washer and dryer, and oh are they lovely!!!
And we do have a new addition to the Owen family...

I am extremely excited to get started on all the projects I have in mind for our new house, and ready to make it our HOME! Gosh that sounds so good!
Thanks for your visit and your comments on my pleated drapes. The drapes are "dummy panels" which means that they don't close. If I wanted drapes that closed I would have needed to make a double width (ie the fabric starts at 54" wide and then by the time you pleat them the finished width is more like 40").
